Sawyer wrote this song as his own personal response to watching news footage of the horrific flooding in Colorado last week, bringing back memories of when Hurricane Irene hit our part of upstate NY hard, two years ago.  After hearing it and sharing it with friends and family, we decided that it could be a way to help the victims of the disaster.  We have made it available as a download on CDBaby, and soon on iTunes and Amazon. In my last year of touring, and the many live streams during this pandemic, I have found myself wanting to close my shows with this iconic song by Louis Armstrong. Many of my original songs deal with the darker stories and emotional struggles of life and this timeless song is a hopeful reminder of all the good in the world. I'm very grateful to be working again with Andrew Benincasa, as well as Lindsey Morano, who have collaborated to create this wonderful vision for my rendition of the song.
