Too tired

Just before leaving Benidorm in 1999 we went down to the park and had these photos taken and then went that night to jam with the local JAzz/Blues  outfit  called the MISFITS in a place we used to call GO CARTS, as it was next to the GOCARTS track.  Really had a good jam and as i listen to this track i can still picture the room

Hard times

After playing guitar in the pit for musicals and theatre shows, Bryn started gigging as a solo artist in venues near to his home Town of Llandudno to help pay the way. He made backing tracks on an old Fostex x26 that used to slow down as it heated up and change key throughout the gig. As time progressed and mini discs led to DAT led to mp3 he ended up playing in bands in Spain and the Middle East, notably working in top class hotels such as The Inter Continental in Muscat and The Crowne Plaza in Dubai. 
They first met whilst Bryn was working in Benidorm, Spain. Julie was looking to join a band in Benidorm as a clarinet player. She had been a highly successful student of the clarinet and saxophone at school, but had not played for a few years. 
Bryn and Julie hit it off both musically and romantically and it wasn’t long before they formed their highly successful duo ‘Sax n Axe’. After a long stint abroad playing as gigging musicians, they returned home to the UK. 
Bryn now teaches in a secondary school in Cheltenham as a ‘Head of Drama’ and composes and records his own music at home. He still gigs at weekends and for some big events.
Julie still gigs with ‘Sax n Axe’ as well as with the duo ‘SAX APPEAL’ and  the 6 piece band ‘TRUE COLOURS’. She also plays from time to time with other local pro outfits.
They have three lovely and lively boys to fill in any other free time they may have.
