Ivan and his charismatic setup have been entertaining audiences – along with a repertoire that could rival any jam-packed jukebox – since 1997. From the sultry sounds of the 50s, through the swinging 60s, right up to modern day floor fillers, SaxSensations' vibrant performance guarantees to encourage even the most stubborn guests onto the dance floor. The band have played in various major hotels in Malta and Gozo. Their brilliant reputation and professionalism has placed them in high demand throughout the wedding season and the festive period, particularly for corporate events and functions. 

Ivan began performing from a young age and spent most of his youth mastering his skills under the tutorship of Malta's leading saxophonists such as Freddie Mizzi. Since then he formed part of several renowned big bands such as Val Valente, Freddie Mizzi, Joe Brown, Paul Abela, Sigmund Mifsud, Versatile Brass, the Big Band Brothers and Brass House Unit. He was also involved in various musicals, pantos, pop concerts, TV programmes and the ever-so-popular yearly event Rockestra. He is licensed by the Trinity College of Music in London. Consequently, Ivan is now a well-established name in the local music scene.
