Dubstep Beatport charting producer, DJ, and label owner, Noki is the head of this movement.

Drawing on the adoration of fellow Pittsburgher, Mac Miller, Noki has been vocal about his love for their hometown. His first 2 singles broke the top 100 on the dubstep Beatport charts affectionately named after their hometown: BassBurgh and Steel City Bass. These singles were self released on his label, Mac and Cheese records, another nod towards Mac.
