@Sullendnb is a Bristol based producer who has been quietly honing his craft for a number of years. After releasing sporadic neuro flavours via underground labels such as Noxious Records and Oscity throughout 2017/18, he is finally making his debut with the first volume of a drum and bass concept album, hoping to offer a slew of fresh sounds and ideas and establish himself as a heavyweight in the scene.

The album, entitled 'The Great Blue Wave', is best described as a sonic labor of love inspired by the mental and emotional odyssey of mental health disorders, and the constant battle that is riding the waves of both depression and mania that come with them.

In the first of four volumes in what he has set out to be a long-term effort, Sullen showcases a subtle blend of dark atmospheres, weighty basses and euphoric melodics, neatly tied together with crisp drum patterns to create a signature “wall of sound” style.

Both Muted Hue & Rift both make a return to the label via two lush cuts of liquid goodness. Both have already firmly made their marks on the Boey Roster but return to make themselves heard yet again each contributing a track to this double track single.

Crispy breaks, beautiful melodic arrangements, deep basslines with a hint of each artists signature sound on both tracks made putting this release together a no-brainer.
