SUNDAY SCHOOL 036

I had the honor of making my DJ debut at a private campout in California my birthday weekend in July. I was third on the schedule but ended up playing second that day and starting around 1130AM after most folks had been up and partying until 2AM. 

You'll notice that the volume is a bit lower for the first ~15min (was trying to be respectful of those still sleeping) but that the volume and energy start to pick up around ~20min. You may also notice one or two of the not so cleanest transitions (first time on this mixer) that I thought about editing out or remixing but decided not to.

This live set was my 9th/10th time ever mixing/DJing and my first time playing in front of more than ten people. I didn't prepare a set ahead of time and am grateful I didn't since I ended up being able to play for 90min instead of an hour and because I ended up playing at a different time than expected. Hiccups aside, I'm pretty happy with how things went and hope you also enjoy!

P.S. I promised a new friend I'd call this my "Wake the F*^K up" set since it apparently got most people at the campout up and out of their tents, but it felt a bit too aggressive.
