As he prepares for a new album in 2024, Gallo teases us with his ‘Hidden Inside EP’ on Hell Yeah. This new outing comes not long after his Tropical Hinterhof Remix of Calm's sublime 'I Love You'.

At the vanguard of the nu-breed Balearic movement, Gallo is a mainstay. Part of the Balearic Gabba Sound System crew, and Buena Onda resident, he has an uplifting sound that has come out mostly on Hell Yeah but has also had music selected for compilations that include Cafe del Mar and Colleen’ Cosmo’ Murphy's Balearic Breakfast. The Berlin-based artist is currently working on his debut long player but first shares with the world these four enchanting cuts. 

'Life on Preset' is a gorgeous downbeat groove embellished with majestic keys that twinkle while gentle chords melt the heart. 'The Last Bud (Beat mix)' slows down further with dusty trip-hop breaks overlaid with pulsing synths to have you gazing off into the distance, lost in a hazy late-night reverie.  Here Gallo showcases his mastery of dreamy, ambient synth work as he suspends you amongst heavenly rays of light and bright white fluffy clouds on 'Hidden Inside'.  Closing down the EP the hazy lazy piano house grooves of 'That Moment' conveys feelings of pure blissed out joy and peacefulness.

Following his deeper and more sample-laden 2022 debut »Sunday Fiction« the newest member of the Kame House family Quimbie, is set to release his latest full-length titled »Hello, It’s Jemlo«; on which he further forays into a genre-fluid outer sphere of late 90s/early 00s ethereal electronica, floating breakbeats, and oozing trip-hop. Each of the 7 tracks on this record instantly evoke the desire to dust off your old Dreamcast, PlayStation, or N64, only to find yourself, af- ter extensive playtime, lulled to sleep by the hypnotizing level-select soundtrack of your long-forgotten favorite futuristic racing game.

»Hello, It’s Jemlo« will be released on very limited CD Digipak as a nod to that millennial period it is sonically rooted in, and will also be available on all major digital platforms.

Quimbie is a german producer who since 2021 has released a couple of records on his home label Janx Records as well as several releases under his more leftfield/kraut influenced moniker Aroma Von Trois- dorf on Papercup Records, plus a contribution to DJ SoFa’s Elsewhere Compilation series.

This months episode is a really really special one to me, as one of my top 5 musicians from the electronic scene contributed an exclusive live recording from his recent gig at Sonus Festival - it is the one and only Laurent Garnier.

Laurent has been making the planet dance for over 25 years.
One of the pioneering DJs of the dance music scene, Laurent Garnier experienced first-hand the euphoria of the Acid House movement in Manchester. 
In 1988 he went back to France, started his Wake Up partys in the early 90s at the famous Rex Club.
His first album, Shot in the Dark, was released in 1995. His second, 30, appeared in 1997 and included one of Garnier's best selling singles, "Crispy Bacon".
After appearing worldwide with DJ appearances during the late 1990s, Garnier returned to production with Unreasonable Behaviour, released in early 2000, which featured one of his best known songs, "The Man with the Red Face".

Today’s Debut casts a spotlight over the enchanting city of Moscow — where Russian label Private Persons cut the ribbon, launching with some lackadaisical electronic sounds. Having released via 1080p and Black Opal amongst others, American producer Gazatech kicks off the label's proceedings with I’m Okay.

Title track "I'm Okay" paves ways as the release's strongest. Somnambulistic horns and lethargic synth work drift over tight snares and submerged percussion — while melancholic vocals ring in the distance. “I’m Okay” floats lazily and effortlessly. Perfect for those hazy post-club.
