Established italian producer Devid Dega and the mysterious Konfusia join forces for their first Kuukou release, a cosmic three-tracker which includes two original tracks and an electrifying remix. Mental Illusion perches along an ominous baseline, slowly unfolding hard rhythms and lofty melodies. Sisko Electrofanatik amps up the tension, adding a suspense and arpeggio- filled breakdown that makes for a highly dramatic dancefloor moment. Cosmic Stars showcases ravey propulsion and vitality, doubled only by the eponymous vocal.

September the 16th meet Klaps from Belgium to deliver his two tracks techno release to CODEX Recordings!

"Ants" was originally a track without any acid, I made an acid mix, eventually the acid mix become the original track. I made the track in june 2019 long time before Corona came into our lives. I played the track in the summer of 2019 on some festival, and the reaction of the crowd was truely insane! 

"Hypnotron" is my very last production, I made it in June 2022, 3 years after Ants, you can hear that it's a total different style, different drive, tempo and more rolling vibe. but the acid is still here.

After his massive tune ‘Blind Spot’ in 2016 on our SUM VA, it was only a matter of time before Glasgow’s young, rising star Frazier reappeared on Second State and this time he’s here with three mental warehouse weapons on his debut 'Modafinil' EP. Heaving low end, massive kick drums and hypnotic vocal commands appear on all three cuts yet each embrace a different intention. ‘Modafinil’ is an almost straight up old school rave homage with searing acid lines, whereas ‘Fabrication’ takes a subtle step into deeper spaces with eery pads and ‘Observation’ into headier territory where sonic blasts meet strobe lights. As if that wasn’t enough, DEAS returns after his hot new ‘Velocity’ EP and reworks ‘Modafinil’ into a psychedelic, late-night undertaking that is sure to cause a frenzy every single time.

Joyce Muniz is a DJ, producer and singer from Vienna with Brazilian roots, who has been making waves around Europe for a number of years. 

Now relocated to Berlin, Muniz has a string of amazing releases on the likes of Exploited, K7!, Get Physcial and 2020 Vision. On Steve Bug’s flagship label, Muniz now drops What’s Your Name with the hugely talented Demetrius on vocal duties.  

The full version is a tough tech house groover, the bumps and swings via a sick rhythm section and thick, rolling bass pulse. Demetrius’s low slung vocals add to the sleezey, edgy vibe of the track. 

The instrumental offers DJs a vocalless version that really lets the bass come to the fore.
