Alan Fitzpatrick's record label, We Are The Brave welcomes a collaborative techno release by Lazar (IT) and Jürgen Degener.

The duo is following up on their recent We Are The Brave release that picked up DJ support from some of techno's most influential artists.

Based in Rome, Lazar (IT) is an Italian artist whose explosive style has been featured on labels such as UMEK's 1605, Spartaque's Codex and Ramon Tapia's Say What? amongst others.

Also hailing from Rome, Jürgen Degener has dropped solo releases on imprints ranging from Pan-Pot's Second State to the iconic Planet Rhythm.

""Mistral"" opens the release with its broken kick drum rhythms and hypnotic lead synth layered with the fast-flowing rhythms of fizzing hi-hats. ""No Remorze"" blends ethereal synths and industrial percussion with acidic sounds and trippy vocals to create a mesmerising groove. ""Pan"" closes the release with its bleeping melodies and psychedelic machine funk layered with thrashing high-end percussion and a pounding kick drum.

Markantonio reunites with Drumsauw as the pair unveil their five-track ‘Fusion’ EP on AnalyticTrail.

A longstanding name at the heart of the Neapolitan scene before his impressive emergence and career on the international circuit, Italian favourite Markantonio has been an artist leading the forefront of the techno scene for over two decades now. And yet, whether as an artist, a DJ or a label boss, he continues to impress as an artist evolving and shaping the sound of the genre’s future. After recently linking up with one another on Carlo Lio and Kareem Cali’s label On Edge Society in late 2022, he reunites with up-and-coming British techno figure Drumsauw for five more dynamic and impactful techno efforts as they return to Markantonio’s renowned AnalyticTrail imprint for their ‘Fusion’ EP.

Opening the package with authority, lead track ‘Emotions’ is a punchy and warping lead effort built for big moments, while ‘Slave’ keeps the energy high with snarling acid-flecked leads, eerie stabs and shimmering metallic hats throughout. Next, ‘Machine’ is an agile and lively effort which bounces between arpeggiated bass patterns and wonky synth melodies, before title track ‘Fusion’ is another heavy-hitting effort built for peak hours and resounding kicks go to work beneath trippy vocal snippets and sharp percussion licks. To close, the pair don’t hold back with final effort ‘Chromatic’ - a bouncy and poignant techno effort with a soulful flair made for all hours of the night.

Renowned Maltese techno artist MNLR makes a triumphant return to KD RAW, the label led by Kaiserdisco. With his latest release, the 'Overdrive EP,' MNLR delivers three groundbreaking tracks that push the boundaries of the techno genre. EVOLUTION: With evolution I wanted to mix the styles of raw techno and modern techno, making the groove constantly evolving and a melodic ''trance-ish'' break to make the crowd's brains go to another place while staying inside the track. 

NEXT: With ''Next'' I used the same principles as in Evolution, trying to make a mixture between Raw Techno and Modern techno more focused on the groove of the bassline and the crazy vocal sounds.

Marcin Bociański aka Marboc is a techno DJ and producer based in Gdańsk, Poland, with a career spanning nearly two decades. He has also recently become a lecturer at the Institute of Sound in Gdansk.
