Unrilis returns with a new peak time techno release from Spanish artist Sara Krin who makes her debut of the record label with this three track EP.

Sara Krin has a dark and hypnotic style with industrial influences and she has dropped tracks on other scene leading record labels such as Ramon Tapia's Say What?, T78's Autektone and Odd Recordings which is run by Ramiro Lopez and Arjun Vagale.

Already a well-known DJ on the Spanish scene, she is making her debut on Unrilis with an EP that showcases why she has been rising though the ranks so quickly. Unrilis is an imprint that showcases the best upcoming techno talent after they gave early releases to the likes of Joseph Capriati and Luigi Madonna, so it seems clear that Sara Krin is on a similar path.

"Attack" opens the release with an onslaught of brutal percussion layered with rave synth stabs to create a dance floor weapon worthy of its title. "Ants" is a dark and hypnotic track with eerie tension and fast-flowing percussion. "Attack Intro" is an ambient version of the lead track that's the perfect set opener for those looking to build suspense at the start of a DJ mix.

James is an artist who keeps stepping up his game with every release, and '187 EP' being no exception to this. Bursting with ride & energy, the EP is opened with the title track that characterized with dark drums that are in perfect synergy with the synths and vocals. Epinephrine comes second on the list which carries on the darkness feeling with a warm groove and fast pace rhythm. Grimy completes this piece of techno with a big drop and a leading dark vocal.

A longstanding name at the heart of the Neapolitan scene before his impressive emergence and career on the international circuit, Italian favourite Markantonio has been an artist leading the forefront of the techno scene for over two decades now. And yet, whether as an artist, a DJ or a label boss, he continues to impress as an artist evolving and shaping the sound of the genre’s future. After recently linking up with one another on Carlo Lio and Kareem Cali’s label On Edge Society in late 2022, he reunites with up-and-coming British techno figure Drumsauw for five more dynamic and impactful techno efforts as they return to Markantonio’s renowned AnalyticTrail imprint for their ‘Fusion’ EP.

Opening the package with authority, lead track ‘Emotions’ is a punchy and warping lead effort built for big moments, while ‘Slave’ keeps the energy high with snarling acid-flecked leads, eerie stabs and shimmering metallic hats throughout. EVOLUTION: With evolution I wanted to mix the styles of raw techno and modern techno, making the groove constantly evolving and a melodic ''trance-ish'' break to make the crowd's brains go to another place while staying inside the track. 

NEXT: With ''Next'' I used the same principles as in Evolution, trying to make a mixture between Raw Techno and Modern techno more focused on the groove of the bassline and the crazy vocal sounds.
