Das Projekt „Hart aber Herzlich“ wurde im Februar 2015 von Steven Henk und Tim Przykopp gegründet. 
Bereits im Sommer 2013 lernten sich die beiden Jungs von der Ostsee durch ein lokales DJ 
Battle kennen. 2014 waren die beiden als Steven Henk B2B TimTec unterwegs. Als guten Vorsatz für 2015 haben sich die beiden ihr Projekt gesetzt, sodass sie im Februar mit "Hart aber Herzlich" sich endlich einen Namen geben wollten. Im März folgte nun der erste Studioversuch der beiden. Mit Philipp Dittberner & Marv ihrer Nummer "Wolke 4" sollte ein Bootleg gelingen, der absolut Dancefloor tauglich ist. 
Auf der Suche nach neuem Material stoßen sie auf "Matthias Schweighöfer - Fliegen" als Neuvorstellung im Radio.
Vom Original begeistert machten sie sich bei die Nummer Clubfähig zu machen.
