This piece was initially inspired by blue glacier ice.  It involves contrapuntal ideas, transformations of melodic gestures and textural painting.  The recording is by Sound Icon- in this case the instrumentation is flute, oboe, bass clarinet, horn, trombone, percussion, piano, violins 1 and 2, viola, cello and contrabass.
