It’s been a while since we’ve had a party takeover on the platform, but you’re in for a treat on the ears today as the sounds of OSO:DEN are showcased on the next instalment of the Grooveology series. Follow the link in our bio to listen.

The brainchild of previous guest to the series, Bear Winder, the OSO:DEN parties aim to push the boundaries of the deeper, soulful side of House, fusing it with underground Garage both old and new. The party comes with a simple mantra, aiming to provide a platform for artists who champion the sound, as well as the long-standing connoisseurs who led the way in the 90’s and early 00’s. We can certainly get down with that! This is echoed throughout the mix with music from Kiko Navarro, DirtyTwo, Demuja and Jimpster to name but a few.

Bear will be hosting the next OSO:DEN party tomorrow night, Saturday 2nd December down in the cave at the Queen of the South, SE27 9BQ where she’ll be joined by K. As I broadcast directly from the heart of Bangkok, currently celebrating and having the year 2567, the contrast in ambiance and climate compared to Copenhagen is striking. The city's temperature hovers around 33-34°C, basking in abundant sunlight, a stark contrast to the cooler, more reserved Danish capital.

This episode comes to you a bit earlier than planned, a spontaneous creation fueled by the relaxation and joy of my holiday. The backdrop for today’s session is nothing short of inspiring; perched on the 36th floor, I’m surrounded by breathtaking views of Bangkok's sprawling skyline.

An undeniable influence to our own page and a most welcome sight anytime he shares some butters from his shelves to the world.

Brought up on a diet of mid 90’s radio shows from Kiss FM DJ’s Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson and Bobbi & Steve providing the perfect education to jump start the insatiable thirst for the 1000’s and 1000’s of records in his collection. Music ethic has always been to keep an eye on the new but never forgetting the old and this is representative of his DJ sets; where you will hear upfront tracks alongside those rare 1993/94 dubs and house and garage belters.

DJ wise, one quarter of the London’s Soulfulbeats DJ collective who has provided the capital with some of the best soulful party moments, playing alongside the talents of Sean McCabe, Groove Assassin, Phil Asher and Craig Smith, but also guesting at many of the UK’s finer house music events alongside the likes of Louie Vega and Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson.
