Two talented young creatives from Tāmaki Makaurau, CHEFF & Erin B collaborate on ‘Sparks’ resulting in a deep and detailed slice of soulful drum and bass.
CHEFF, one of the brightest emerging producers of the New Zealand scene, showcases his intricate sound design skills with this track, whilst setting the sonic stage for Erin B’s engaging and captivating vocals.
With a depth and detail that belies experience, this combo have created a moment of magic with ‘Sparks’ that leaves the listener with a sense of anticipation for what the future might hold.

London based label stalwart Luca steps up once more on SBK  with ‘Roaring Forties’, which continues the conversation from his contribution in Sumberge 01.
‘Roaring Forties’ sounds like something akin to late 90s triphop, with shuffling beats, dusty atmospherics, and lush languid chords, glued together by jazz-grade upright bass. 
‘Roaring Forties’ feels like a refreshing breeze that caresses the corner of your favorite summer beach spot on a hot summer’s day.
The beard-strokers might say: 
“Is this even drum & bass?”
