I loved Jungle and DnB since I was a teenager. After a long journey through House and Techno I had a surprising b2b set with the godfather of DnB - Sir Goldie, about 8-9 years ago. We almost didn't played any electronic music that night, but the meeting inspired me to start digging bass music again. As I’m expected to play house and techno on my shows - with such and open format as Upperberry. I saw the chance to show my other passion. There is no deep philosophy behind this mix, just music I dance to, sometimes with hands in the air, sometimes eyes closed.

We're back with our first release of 2025 with a dose of raw and relentless techno from one of Glasgow’s most solid of underground forces Fear-E. 9 Darter EP presents four slabs of peak-time pressure, polished with the refined edge of the Posh End Music boss’s production. No surprise this EP is in parts inspired by the sounds of UK techno legend Dave Angel and in others of the general free-wheeling ethos of the 90s - feeling as relentless as a basement session in that golden era.

Fear-E has built a reputation as a beacon of putting out high quality club tracks through his career, releasing on the likes of Dame Music, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Dark Entries, while also running his own imprint Posh End Music alongside its hardcore-driven sister label Breakbeat Energy. His records are regularly supported by the likes of Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, The Hacker, Randomer, Jerome Hill, Marcel Dettmann, and James Ruskin, with airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music.

Originally from Chicago and now based in Berlin, Jacob Meehan is a DJ and event organiser known for creating thoughtful, feel-good energy both behind the decks and in the spaces he helps shape. A regular presence at some of Berlin’s best-loved dance floors, his sets blend warmth, groove and intention.

This one was recorded while Jacob was on-site at Ferropolis, helping build up for WHOLE Festival 2025 – a sunny, summery mix to lift your mood and move your feet.

Zombies In Miami is a project created by Cani & Jenouise and despite the name they are not crawling around Miami, but shining out their light from Mexico. The couple became one of the most prominent members of Mexico's vital electronic scene over the last decade. You can call their sound a rhythmic and synth-driven house and techno hybrid.

Introducing to you "U-Topic Guests": a series of mixes from national and international artists, who's art we admired and want to share it to the world.

For the 32th guest, we leave again our homeland and we cross the ocean to Central Europe.

Moskalus was born and currently resides in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He started his musical journey back in 2007 when he created his first YouTube channel where he would upload music from various artists to help them promote their music. With his second channel, he started doing music videos because he wanted to be a part of the scene, not only as a regular uploader, but as someone who wanted to express his own feelings. 

In November 2014, he had his first big break by making the music video for Bambounou's track "Onto This" which was released on 50 Weapons. After that, he gained a greater audience that helped him to work with labels such as: Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Die Orakel, Pinkman and Lehult. He has also had the opportunity to work with artists such as: Baltra, Fjaak, J. Albert and Benedikt Frey.

After years of listening to music and making videos for such artists, Moskalus has developed a wide-ranging taste. In his DJ sets you can expect to hear anything from disco to house, techno, UK Garage or dubstep from the golden era.

Sean Carlin is a DJ/Producer based in Derry, Ireland

Taking inspiration from Techno heavyweights, Ben Klock, Kobosil, Dax J and Funk Assault to name a few, His sound consists of fast groove driven sounds of Techno and hypnotic rhythms of all sorts along with a dash of industrial inspired harder tracks while also delving into other genres to add swing to an ominous Techno set.
 
Having only began his DJing journey 3 years ago, he has played numerous parties across the north of Ireland including, WaX, Extase, JikaJika!, OCD, Emerge Festival, Shine Belfast, Coda Belfast, Rewind Supporting the likes of Azyr, Meltx, Klangkuenstler, Rudosa, Daria Kolosova, Fatima Hajji, Alan Fitzpatrick, Randomer, Clouds and Beau Didier while also varying his style on support for Carlton Doom and PEARCE.
 
Described as being one of the most passionate and supportive ravers in the scene constantly pushing people to support the scene and artists a like.  

With a bright future ahead of him in 2025, starting with a journey into the production side, He is surely one to keep an eye on.
