Sometimes I turn up to a gig for my 6am slot, and the room is pitch black, deafening, and sweat is dripping off the roof, and I think, hmm, what should I play?

A lot of my solo tracks aren't quite right for this sort of atmosphere, so I've been working on a new project designed more for dark sweaty holes in which we like to spend our weekends.

It's a collaboration with someone I have been working with for many years, who is releasing under the new name - Satirist. The first vinyl + digital release coming next week on Berlin's Killekill label. No pretty melodies this time. The name I will be releasing this work under is - SKEW (because it's a bit off).

Fuelled by an endless fascination with sound in all its forms, OTON has spent over a decade navigating the vast spectrum of electronic music through producing, mixing, mastering, and DJing — with live performance at the heart of his explorations in all sorts of mental and hypnotic techno.In 2021, he launched Alliance Club, initially as a platform to share his own music with a growing audience. Today, the project has evolved into an independent collective, party series and imprint, known for its integrity and support of alternative artists and scenes. This project spreads across different soundscapes exploring and building new  vibratory paths that helps us navigate through a vast web of interconnected frequencies and rhythms, creating unique and intimate spaces for dancers to take part in a sonic experience in a way that can most directly connect the body, the mind and the soul to the main source as it transforms land forms into celestial beings.

It has been a very long way since the beginning of this piece but I am very happy to have it finally released! Always thankful for all the trust and understanding from all the artists involved and every who has been supporting, lovers and protectors of this journey on the alluring coherence between sound and creation.
