This EP is about obstacles and things in our way that see like the absolute end of the world. Events in our lives that just test us. In the same way that they test us, we are allowed to change how we view them. They are mountains. The Black Mountain is symbolic of this task that is so daunting and impossible that there is almost no point in even trying. But when you look at the Mountain and plot the path and follow the trail suddenly the Mountain is just a mountain and with determination you'll get there. You'll get anywhere you want.
