This song started as a riff, a melody and some lyrics over an acoustic guitar backer, at a quaint 120 BPM or so. Noel sent it to Lance and said, "it's sardonic and slightly angry -- just your style!"
"Not my style yet," said Lance, who then cranked the speed up to 170 BPM, ran the acoustic guitars through a high-gain amp, added a chug-chug palm mute track of his own, tweaked a lyric here and there to accomodate the new speed and then started screaming into the mic.
"Now it's my style."
"I think you got something there," said Noel, after hearing the track run through the Punkination Process.

Something for everyone in this bouncy, sometimes retro, fiddling about sort of dance song. This turned out much differently than either of us expected - but we liked the end result very much and hope you do too... be sure - as always - to slap on some good cans or play this on a good sound system at high amplitude for the most enjoyable listening and dancing experience. Featuring Lance on vocals, synth and drums - Noel on all guitars, bass, B3 organ and fiddle - and the debut of Matt Burke (Noel's son)on some simple but nicely placed piano stabs at the end vamp section. While real life has temporarily interrupted our creative efforts, with childbirths, heavy workloads, etc., nonetheless Scarface Betty has pressed on with a new song: All Eyes on the Glory!  Whatever Noel may have had in mind when he sent Lance a music bed with that title, Lance heard the instrumental and immediately thought of a "lonesome hitcher story song." So, here it is.
