JUNIOR FICTION has an album. It comprises all of the material that was generated at the formation of the band in 2016. It's 9 songs of reflection and angst with a backbone of pop and a dash of post punk. It was recorded with our great friend Rohan Sforcina out at 400 acres studio in Broadmeadows and i don't mind saying that he's done a fantastic job. Thanks to the super talented Madeline Simm for tape cover artwork.

Out Of Nothing

Mondegreen are an American moon-rock band that formed in Portland, Oregon in 2015. The band consists of Ash Dybvig on vocals, guitar, and flute and Dustin Dybvig on drums, keys, and bass. After a series of emailed tracks were exchanged across the states from Oregon to New York, the duo met in Oregon and formed the project under the initial name Hypnagogic, and then later Mondegreen (meaning: a misinterpretation of a phrase as a result of near-homophony, in a way that gives it a new meaning). 

'Returnity' is an exploration of space, lucidity, peace, definitions, mother nature, fractals, and modern-day expansion. Throughout their futuristic artifact, Ash's falsetto leads you into a melodic array of cosmic discussions right off the bat. Accompanying celestial flute lines and bright, warped guitar comes a backbone of Dustin's lyrical percussion and trip/hip-hop influenced rhythm. Lush strings, deep, bouncy pianos, and mellotron jams are placed cleverly inside this collective psychedelic operetta.
