Scarlet Castles met in the dark, dingy halls of Castle Irwell student village, drawn together by their shared appreciation of prog rock's jagged rhythms and wonky melodies. In the age of djent and 8 string guitars they prefer a more traditional approach, sticking to the classic rock trio format. If it ain't broke why fix it? 
After a subdued year resulting from everyone frantically scrabbling around trying to sort their lives out after uni, the band are once again writing new material and looking forward to releasing their first EP. 
Armed with a bipolar concoction of hefty riffage, consoling chorus's and angelic harmonies they have laid siege to the smaller, more intimate venues Manchester has to offer and are hungry for bigger opportunities.
