My father lived to 92.5 years; he sang well, but when he recorded this, his best voice was in the past. One of several multi-lyric folk ditties he would sing in order to pass time that he was taught in his youth involved 2 mythical villains meeting, fighting and dying. I added musical accompaniment after cleaning up the transfer from a tiny cassette recording with low battery affecting the recording speed... no adjustments made, all live takes with the vocal. Updated on the day of his passing: 6/4/2025. May God rest the soul of Wild Bill Yensen

This was a highlight of my life; being serenaded a capella by my bride at my own wedding with a Contemporary Christian song i didn't yet know (she had me serenade her on saxophone as she entered). After hearing that the original song was a male/female duet, I found a commercial karaoke track from youtube. I then used the audio from an audience member's video and, amazingly, she (Neidy) was singing in exactly the right key when she sang solo; no fine tuning with the recording required! I added the male vocal part and covered where the video hadn't yet started recording her performance of the male only part. (this song is entirely in Portuguese)
