ALBUM:
404 is a concept album about losing – and maybe reclaiming – what makes us human in an age of systems, feeds, and synthetic voices. It’s unapologetically AI-made: all music and vocals are generated through prompting on Suno; every lyric is written by a human.

The album unfolds through two perspectives that share one voice. Raz is the part of us still reaching for meaning – curiosity, growth, purpose – in “Let it Fall”, “Doors Wide Open”, and “La Marseillaise”. Shadow is the drift away from ourselves – numbness, addiction, power – in “soft.static”, “i keep going back”, and “coronation”. Over the years, Raz moves to a new city, disappears into bright lights, parties, and strangers, slides into obsession and addiction, and finds a cause that shifts her trajectory, helps her find her voice, and turns her into a leader – until it consumes her. When power burns out, she falls into the dark place where Shadow has been waiting.

The final trilogy is their collision. “404” is the moment Raz meets Shadow, embodied as an AI system – the god in our pocket that erodes our humanity in plain sight (“I saw a god in my phone today”). The encounter drags her through deep self-doubt. “Untitled” is a wordless attempt by Shadow to pull everything back into the void. “As Human as it Gets” is Raz’s last broadcast: a fragile, collective, imperfect human voice that breaks through the system, woken up out of a dream, and leans into being “almost human, close enough” – flawed, forgiving, and still enough.

404 is absurd, contradictory, and hypocritical. It aims to grapple with deeply human questions and criticises our AI trajectory while speaking through a fully machine-generated voice. The human behind it is an AI engineer who is in love with building these systems and is terrified of what they may end up doing to us – to our jobs, to who holds power, and to our sense of humanity.

The album ends with the words “We start it over.” They’re meant as much a reckoning as an invitation.

The Disquiet EP was released on Juke Bounce Werk 1.1.18 on all major music platforms and was the first limited (and sold out) vinyl pressing from the JBW collective.

This project features previously unreleased remixes from good friends @tah_heaux (Thread Imprint / NJ) and @Regent-Street (Fire 4 Hire / NY), along with bonus b-side tracks "Tócame" & "Conozco" from the original Disquiet EP sessions.

So much love goes out to all who have lent their support over the years. You all fuel my desire to continue creating, even through the toughest and most trying times.

'Gluon' feels like metadata management (or mismanagement) transcribed into music. Maximal electronic music with a keen focus on sampling, spatialization and timbre. It's at home alongside artists like Foodman, Yellow Magic Orchestra and Oval - straddling the line between saccharine pop and the experimental. Szymon is based out of Poland and also records as 1/2 of the duo @mukamukamuka
