I took part in V.A."Noise Pollution" from jujufrootcoop (US) 2014.
Theme of this compilation is "Pollution".
I chose the theme of natural disaster.
This sound is an outtake of this album.

A tornado hit Moka in Tochigi on May 6th, 2012.
This area is a damaged area of the Great East Japan Earthquake on 2011.
About a year later, there was attacked again by a natural disaster.
This tornado that happened on the day when I was going to visit for my exhibition.
This is a simulation of the sound that I might hear.

[Description of installation]
This is an installation using sunlight, the sounds changes depending on weather and time zone.
The first impression of the exhibition space"space_inframince" was that the light of venue is beautiful. This space have a charm that you want to look into what this space is exhibiting from the outside. This light that I was attracted into has become the starting point.
There are three types of light that illuminate this space. The south sun light coming from the front show window, the west sun light coming from the toilet window and the illumination light inside the venue. The balance of these three lights makes space impression, and it conveys information from outside such as the weather and the passage of time.
We recognize on time, temperature, direction etc. from changes in the height of the sun. Sun light affects other creatures as well. I focused on the habit of this creature being influenced by the sunlight (called "Phototaxis" is the habit of moving in response to light provided to insects etc.) and made machines to move to the light source. 
One is machine with sound that motor driven by solar power that rotates in the progressing direction, scratches the concrete floor with thin legs. The other is machine for moving to the light source that motor turns on when irradiated with sunlight, gives a force to rotate and moves slowly.
All three units move from 13 o'clock to 15 o'clock and they are noisy. On a day with clouds, sunlight is blocked and change occurs, and sounds are shaken. After the daytime, the sounds which hits the floor stably with the unit by the illumination light sounds. All motors stop with lights off at closing time, silence returns to the venue. 
Since the sunlight is strong during the summer exhibition period, this installation was completed using the light to insert into the venue.
