"Gettin It," is a hip hop song, that features popular Inglewood native, and underground rap veteran El Prez. The two frequent collaborators take fans for a ride around Los Angeles, although the vehicle is hip hop, and the art of storytelling. Production comes courtesy of @MdotforMayor and the mix, provided by Jhair Lazo, via the Penthouse Recording Studio. Gettin' It Ft. El Prez

Vic Spencer drops the fourth installment of his Red Button Series on his 32nd birthday. There couldn't be a better day to address any of his so-called 'peers' who call this master emcee old, outdated or think he isn't making moves in the rap. On this track, entitled Illusion of Movement, Vic lets these rap dudes know ever so calmly that while yes he may be older than them he is also doper than them. In life and in the booth. Spitting over an ever so smooth beat recorded at Mixed by DC Headquarters, Vic shows his age with lines like  "If I was old I would be a baby boomer", a baby boomer is a person who was born during the demographic Post–World War II baby boom between the years 1946 and 1964. And in typical Vic fashion tossing in a comedic line or two, "What you know about fuckin butt naked in ya huff socks, then afterwards roll up go nuts and bump the Chubb Rock", which sounds like a way better time than popping the designer drug of the week. If you need an explanation of who Chubb Rock is brush up on your hip hop history then come back.  Another bar that sticks out is "I cant travel through Davy Jones Locker" which is described as the bottom of the sea and the state of death among drowned sailors and shipwrecks. To add such information to a record on his birthday says a lot about this MC. This dude Vic is insanely incredible.

Produced, mixed, mastered and arranged by DC and co-produced by Vic Spencer himself, Illusion of Movement is a record that comes from Daedalus and John Robinson (Sci)'s "Move On" from Daedalus album, Exquisite Corpse. It describes the life of Vic Spencer and his musical movement. His lifestyle and movement is very real, but you have to really tune into this record and his career to really see the movement. Some think that Vic Spencer is not making any moves. Some people ignore the moves. Either way, Vic recognizes what's being displayed and continues to be a elite in this youth-driven Chicago rap scene. All in all Vic seems to be very happy to be a 'Old Fart' on this record. And if this isn't enough, Vic says "part 2 coming soon" as the beat shifts at the end of the record. I say Illusion of Movement is the best of Vic Spencer and the Red Button Series. The artwork is even done by Vic as he continues to show no limits in his creativity.

Vic Spencer also announces that the Red Button Series will now extend through October. The Rapping Bastard is due out in November and in all of the move is his or is not making, Vic will also be opening for EPMD on October 3rd.
