I. Ascenso desde el Abismo

Desde las entrañas de un erial sepultado bajo dunas eternas, donde el viento susurra profecías en lenguas olvidadas, emerge ella—Trillobite Queen, nacida de la osamenta petrificada de eras prehistóricas. Su cabellera, un manto de ébano entrelazado con hilos de alabastro lunar, enmarca un semblante forjado por el yugo de un sol tiránico. Colgantes de obsidiana cuelgan de su cuello, cada uno un orbe de almas cautivas, arrancadas por las espadas bifrontes que porta—artefactos forjados en el crisol de un linaje condenado, sus filos un lamento metálico que profana el silencio. Espinas, retorcidas como venas de un titán moribundo, la rodean, alzándose como centinelas de un enigma sepulto en la arena voraz.

II. Pulso de un Reino Condenado

Su cetro es un latido—un estruendo industrial que retumba desde las profundidades telúricas, el alma pulsante de un imperio teñido de sombras abismales. Los ritmos resuenan como el fragor de legiones aniquiladas, un eco primigenio que danza bajo un firmamento ciego a la redención. Ella, leviatán de la desolación, teje arabescos de desesperanza con sus aceros—cada tajo un verso en una epopeya de cenizas, cada embate un estribillo que huele a óxido y olvido. El suspense se cuela como niebla, un presagio de fatalidad que acecha tras cada compás.

III. Traición del Polvo

La arena guarda su dolor. Cuando el clímax se yergue como un titán, las espinas se cierran—garras vivientes que desgarran su carne, vertiendo ríos de carmesí que empapan la tierra infame. Su imperio, erigido sobre cráneos y sueños rotos, se fractura con un crujido sordo. Trillobite Queen vacila, sus mechones níveos ahora sudarios empapados en su propia esencia, sus espadas hundiéndose en la traicionera marea dorada. El último latido estalla—un eco fúnebre, el colapso de una corona profanada. El desierto la devora, su reino se disuelve en la penumbra, y solo perdura el susurro espectral de su ocaso. Bienvenidos a su abismo, donde la luz se quiebra y el silencio reina eterno.

Alex Tsiridis, one of Techno’s more prolific producers, returns to the label he operates alongside Mor Elian. Tsiridis has used the Rhyw alias to explore more abstract interpretations of both the Techno genre, and the wider dance music spectrum.

On this particular missive Tsiridis looks to his musical roots, growing up in the UK for inspiration, with a pair of high tensile, deconstructed club tools. Both find their focus in the low end, with the artist looking to the silent space between percussive strikes as much as any one sonic component. Vocal cuts lend the tracks their identity, with careful shifts and edits thereof lifting both recordings up far and above the sum of their parts.

The result is satisfying & undeniably effective - Tsiridis’ output as Rhyw has always been deceptively simple - favouring economy of elements over a crowded sonic space. This latest effort is no different, a well executed & welcome addition to the discographies of both artist and label.

Today we present the upcoming DVNTT v/a.  The Bulgarian label curates a unique compilation that consists of 13 tracks. An eclectic selection of ebm, techno, d &b and experimental sounds.  We premiere  the track 'Feeding the Beast with Fear' by Helena Markos. The track 'Feeding the Beast with Fear' was born out of a poem, written by the artist herself during the first lockdown. Back then, due to the denial of the situation and the perceived surrealism of it, the world felt like collapsing and people becoming more individualistic, cruel and divided. 
'The track reflects a moment, when I felt that the world is turning into a beast, fed by the constant fear.'

She brings some witchy vibes with "Multiskinned", which comes off EXILES' upcoming V.A "Sirens", an international compilation by female and non-binary artists focusing on the sonic exploration of maritime fantasies. The album contains 20 luring vocal-based tracks and volatile ambient takes. All digital purchases will be donated to The Women For Women Together Against Violence Association (NANE).
