Luketua is an electrifying musical voyage crafted by the visionary artist Lucas Apa from Argentina.

Exploring the whole spectrum of raw mind-altering soundscapes, he creates environments that guide listeners to contrasting and sharp realities. Assisted by live hardware instruments, unleashes hypnotic and heavy sounds in his productions and DJ sets around the world.

Has released music in industrial techno and EBM labels such as “Oberwave”, “Bruto Industries” and performed in world renowned “Aluna Ritual” on the dark psychedelic scene.

From an early age, Lucas has fearlessly pushed technology to its limits, relentlessly surpassing them as a professional hacker. This remarkable journey has empowered him to unveil a distinctive musical vision, seamlessly bridging the gap between sound and silence through avant-garde effects and groundbreaking techniques.

In this new curation of experimental techno, a raw ritualistic platform has being created for rising and consolidated labels to showcase their darker and harsher side.

This (self)release is inspired by George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984”. Written about 75 years ago, it somehow anticipated many of the absurd realities we are facing in the present.

The book focuses on the impact of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and the strict control of individuals and their behaviour within society. It also explores the use of indoctrination, specifically through a concept called “doublethink”, where individuals are required to accept two contradictory beliefs as true, even when these beliefs contradict their own memories or perception of reality.

“WAR IS PEACE”
“FREEDOM IS SLAVERY”
“IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH”

In 1984, these slogans belong to “The Party”, a political organisation that preserves its power through constant surveillance, manipulation of reality, control of information, and the suppression of independent thought.

I encourage to read the novel, think about what’s depicted in its pages and how it compares to the modern times.
