Today FLUX is proud to premiere the song System Downfall by the duo MDD (https://soundcloud.com/mdd_noise), the project of Martin Dolgener (https://soundcloud.com/martin-dolgener) and Fahad Ahmad. The song is featured on the second tape release by Drøne (https://soundcloud.com/user-51554854-241003479) entitled CONVENE + OBEY, consisting of four brand new songs of the Canadian duo. 

Rhythmic noise aficionados will remember their full length "Reverse The Contrast" released in 2019 by HANDS. Martin Dolgener also releases music with the project Nixon Helix together with Nicola Cimmino (SHARPLINES (https://soundcloud.com/sharplines) / Nathaniel). Recently, one of their latest songs was included in the first Drøne tape compilation and now they're back with CONVENE + OBEY [Drøne DR0̸0̸2].

System Downfall is a song influenced by rhythmic noise with a strong noise component which makes it sound rough and sharp, enriched by industrial sounds and beats, while sounding contemporary.

An Artist we have followed for some time after a string of releases on local labels West End Communications and Lifeforms. Piecing together elements of harsh, raw electronics with post punk infused synths his somewhat unique sound is showcased throughout this mix. Throughout the past year the launch of his label Hangman Satellite has drawn our eye with some impressive tape releases from himself and other admirable artists. Now focusing his attention to multiple projects Aden continues to push his Ludgate Squatter sound to new limits.

TL Premiere : Penelope's Fiance - The Last Arrow In His Quiver [Soil Records]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from HAF HAF. The artist returns to the Gang of Ducks imprint after 2014’s Notch  helped define the sound of the label. Now the artist is set to release, Pattern In Chaos, an 8 track release which finds the artist in top form, traversing a diverse array of sounds, genres and atmospheres. The title sums up the release perfectly as it definitely feels chaotic at times but there’s always a common denominator and a thread that runs through the release. 

Today we premiere the great track “Bonola” and to mark the release we also present a short interview with Gang Of Ducks - the Italian art collective that consists of musicians, visual artists and more.
