Subtyl artist collective has been making waves in the french underground scene for the past 7 years. Described as “one of Paris most dynamic techno promoter” by Mixmag, the collective has had a major role in the french rave renaissance, by organising clandestine events in industrial spaces.

Last year, the collective opened its own venue in a former hallal supermarket called Megadestock.

A place that embodies the collective ethos, based on solidarity, passion and support for emerging talents.

To keep pushing this agenda, we are now releasing a 13 tracks compilation by artist we invited previously at our event. From Size Pier’s EBM to the violent experimentation of Quelza, through to Voiski’s iconic trance and Cuften post-rave sound, Megadestock Vol 1 shows the energy and diversity of the electronic music scene in Europe.

Obsessed by synths, french producer Cuften is also known for his alias LePyong, under which he already released a cassette on Tripalium Corp's Digital Mutant Series. He's been a freeparty activist and a DJ since the late 90s, with a mainly rave and hardcore background - that you can definitely feel in that new 12'' EP. These 3 tracks, which have been recorded in a live context in order to keep a human feel, are a well balanced mix of oldschool rave energy and futuristic aesthetics.

Cette semaine nous recevons Eklose (@eklose-nuisancesonore ), co-fondatrice de l’asso Nuisance Sonore (@nuisancesonore) . Cet insaisissable collectif fait vibrer les salles et les champs de Bretagne, de Brest à Rennes en passant par Lannion.

Si Eklose aime tous les styles de musique électronique, derrière les platines l’ambiance est à l’asile de fous. Kicks en avant, distorsion et cris de démence sont sa marque de fabrique. Pas étonnant qu’elle ait été invitée à jouer à Rennes chez les fous de Tripalium et Acid Avengers. Militante de la rave libre, elle a aussi participé au Tek'Steve'All à Nantes, pour que faire la fête ne soit plus jamais puni de mort. On retrouve cet esprit libertaire dans sa track “You gonna fight” que vous trouverez sur SoundCloud et qui sent bon la contestation.

Pour ÖND, Eklose a sélectionné des tracks de techno torturée, breaké et résolument industrielle accompagnée d’une pointe d’acid et de trance. Bonne écoute !

Originaire de Lyon et ayant vécu à Londres pendant plusieurs années et dorénavant résident à Paris, @AdAstra93 (vers les étoiles en latin) façonne et maîtrise son style dans la partie obscure et sombre de la techno.

Avec plusieurs releases à son actif sur les labels Blockchain Records, Sindex, COUP, TX Records ainsi que l’agence et label Harbor Concept dont il est membre, il a su imposer sa marque dans la scène techno parisienne.

Ses DJ sets se caractérisent par des sélections de morceaux aux sonorités brutes, hypnotique et froides.

ATRIUM CAST 002: AD ASTRA

Episode 29 of the Animal Farm podcast comes from Berlin based rising start Hybral. 

Hybral´s sound is characterized by intense evolving atmospheres, pushing percussions and basslines as well as heavy distorted kicks. They always have a political approach, not only by the representation as a queer dj and producer in the techno scene, but also in their track selection. Hybral tries to select and produce tracks that include political statements or theories.
