"Blues For Lornica"

I wrote this song as a tribute to love that endures beyond this world as we know it. My best friend lost his battle with cancer several years ago, but as I often think of him I have envisioned his parting moments with his dear wife by his side. This is just my thoughts on it, I won’t pretend to represent the actual intimacies that would possibly have transpired, but I do have a good idea of how much they cared for each other, and still do.

I'm sitting by the window on a mild winter morning. I have a warm cup of tea in my hand and wait for the sun to rise. In the backyard already work the early shift. I do not envy them. Then... a first glowing sunbeam. The morning fog lifts and gives the view into an imaginary future...

Ich sitze am Fenster, an einem milden Wintermorgen. Ich hab eine warme Tasse Tee in der Hand und warte auf den Sonnenaufgang. Im Hinterhof arbeiten schon die Frühschicht. Ich beneide sie nicht. Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
