Higher-Higher is being in a place in God  in His presence escaping the noise of the world just to hear God speak.
The quiet place is in your prayer closet. God takes us higher in our relationship with him we are able to hear his voice in our quiet place. Sometimes being still and just knowing he is God and  that he cares about us to hide us in the safety of his arms.
