I’m so happy to share my first set with you, which i played at Kapitel Bollwerk in Bern. The whole preparation was a big, emotional journey, just like the day itself. Let’s say a rollercoaster of emotions :) Maybe you remember your first gig too? Everything is very exciting! So many things went differently than planned that day and my perfectionist side was very challenged (: But what definitely stays in my mind is the feeling of standing behind the decks, hearing the music over the sound system and being able to see people dancing and smiling at me, closing their eyes and just enjoying the movement of the body and the music. That is unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thanks to everyone who was there and supported me. Enjoy the Set. It's imperfect - like me:)

✔️What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

I grew up in Paris suburb and it had an impact on my early influences, as I grew up listening mostly to reggae and to french hip hop. These were all my first concerts and ‘in-repeat’ albums, with artists like Lunatic, Salif, Steel pulse or Groundation.
My first closer connection to club music was then with the electronica and minimal house scene in Paris with artists like RPR Soundsystem, Cabanne, Bonobo or Traumprinz . Only later around 2015 I discovered the slower and deeper Berlin sound with firstly artists like Mira, Chris, and then Wide awake or Arutani.
Those are few of my influences throughout the years and artists that have inspired me and had a big impact on the music I am doing now. 

✔️ What makes good “afterhour”?

After hours can have a very unique energy, some sort of magic in the air, a shared energy of kindness and sensitivity. 
At this time, I feel that music becomes an even more important element of the party. People are more open to feel, and to connect deeper with the music.   
It can also be an invitation for the DJ to play a more mental and elegant selection, music with more soul and surprises. 

✔️ Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

This is a set I played at a label showcase with Crépite., a beautiful summer afternoon at a great outdoor location in East Berlin, the gART.n. 
When I play in a Crépite. showcase, I tend to select music that also represents well the sound from the label as I feel it is important that our signature sound is represented in those events, and that we are the first ambassador. 
This set represents well the brighter side of the Crépite. sound somewhere between elegance, minimalism, deepness and obviously crackling textures :) 
A lot of my favorite tracks of the last few months. 
The set also contains loads of my own field recording samples, which is the direction my DJ sets are taking, an organic hybrid direction with field recordings from nature.

Our next chameleon, Katschinka, surprised us with another three-hour live recording captured at an event by our friends from Afterhour Sounds and Sumpfkrüge.
This set is a smooth yet driving journey. Katschinka’s downtempo soul style brings a deep calm with subtle intensity, moving between uplifting moments and darker, pushing undertones.

This is the liveset to present my first album, Ter V Sil, which will be released on November 22nd with @kanto_records. 

However, I built the body of the live more recently, and only the first (Laan) and last two tracks (Vad Pang, Irst Ak An) are taken from the album. I composed the others this summer thinking of a more unitary and continuous live, rather than divided into tracks designed for publication.

The recording took place on October 13th at Masada in Milan with ODD collective, and I was really happy that after me played with their amazing sound @laaarmusic and @narcissemusique, who contributed to the album with their remixes.

And finally, chef @tripintequila, who made us close on Sunday evening.

We are happy to continue our Schleichcast series with another live special featuring Wavin Silhouettes! Almost 5 months ago, on a hot day in mid-July, the super lovely and talented downtempo trio from Stuttgart opened our openair event at Frida Pier’s Oberdeck. Relistening is like an ode to last summer with some dusty memories coming up that seem somewhat far away now, but at the same time offer a glimmer of hope thinking about the circle of seasons with the winter solstice approaching already. This podcast itself is an invitation to dream and dance while immersing into a sonic journey with hypnotic melodies and driving rhythms - an organic fusion of handpan, cello, guitar, vocals and deep basslines. Enjoy this slow yet dynamic ride (just the way we love it) and thank you so much @wavin-silhouettes for your trust - it’s an honor being able to finally release your liveset on this platform! <3
