Coole Mucke 😉 Wie heißt der erste Track des Sets?

On that sunny and cold morning in early March, the little witch was relaxing on a dry patch of moss after completing the daily inspection round of her forest, saying ‘good morning’ to all the animals and birds.  Within seconds after lying down, her eyelids grew heavy and she drifted away in a blissful sleep.  Soon she was in the middle of her witchy dreamworld, flying away from the enchanted forest in the presence of her trusted friend the Eurasian eagle-owl and heading towards the surreal and mysterious world of the humans.  Since the persecutions of the 16th Century, witches have kept their distance from humans.  A pure being like a witch is in any case not capable to understand the typical human vices like greed, jealousy, discrimination and buying fake soundcloud plays.  For witches, humans look like heartless monsters.  So as a precaution, from the very first day in her forest at age 9, she kept people out of the woods with the help of all forest animals.  But now, a decade later, she slowly had become more and more curious about the human world, which – according to some other young witches – is not all bad and even contains a surprising amount of beauty.
On that day, the girl flew straight to the nearest airport.  For years, she had been watching these silver birds fly high in the sky, wondering what their purpose was and from where they came.  Before touching down, the witch cast an invisibility spell over herself and over her friend the eagle-owl so that they could land discretely near a little bush next to the runway of the airport.  From the thickets, she observed the planes taking off with the loudest roar she had ever heard (in the witch’s forests the loudest noise is the crow’s caw).  But after a while she got kind of used to all the noise and even started to admire the elegant beauty of the airplanes.  A couple of hours later she became more confident and slipped into the arrival hall of the airport.  At first the girl was overwhelmed by the bustle of all these people in a hurry, so she observed the place from a quiet corner of the hall.  When she saw the smiling humans giving so many hugs and kisses to each other in the arrival hall, it dawned to the witch that humans maybe weren’t all mean and bad after all.  The girl also noticed that many people were buying a black-colored beverage from a shop with the logo of a green mermaid.  She saw the drink pouring out of a magic machine.  So she got curious and asked her friend the eagle-owl to stealthily snatch away one cup of this brew (which was the only option given the fact that witches don’t use money).  After that, the girl held the warm cup tightly in her hands and savored the unique smell, before taking a small sip from the mysterious black drink.  It was a moment she would never forget … the very first coffee of her whole life … so tasty and intense.
After that, the witch decided to sneak out of the airport and fly back to the safety of her enchanted forest.  From that day onwards, her friend the eagle owl flew to the airport on every Sunday, bringing back every time a magic cup of warm coffee for the little witch … each time creating one moment of pure magic in the enchanted forest …

Ursprünglich fragten wir @kikikokolores für einen Beitrag für die "Jungbrunnen"-Reihe an. Das ist aber schon lange her! Inzwischen hat sie ihre nicht überhörbare Handschrift entwickelt und beglückt uns mit einem frisch und live gemixtem Tape für MUY APRECIADO (Mixed by our friends)!

"Samstag Abend, Sachen gepackt und ab ins Musikzimmer zur Aufnahme. Start, der Bass dröhnt, Energie im Raum und gute Laune verbreiten sich in der Runde. So spielt sie los und grooved sich ein, bis Kiki plötzlich bemerkt, dass dort ein gewisser kleiner roter Button doch eigentlich permanent leuchten sollte. Hm - Aufnahme vergessen und das bisher gespielte futsch, was für ein Mist. Und jetzt? Einfach nochmal von vorne? Das Set doch nochmal neu gestalten? Fragen über Fragen, also: kurzes Päuschen. Nach einem Gin-Tonic zum grübeln schmeißt Kiki sich wieder hinter das Pult. Aufnahme? Doppelcheck, alles an, alles leuchtet. Mal schauen was das wird..
Und was es geworden ist. Die nächsten anderthalbstunden voll in ihrem Element, provoziert sie in der Runde verträumte grinsende Blicke gefolgt von verzogenen Bassgesichtern und Jubel im Raum. Sogar der Record-Button wurde traurig, als es an der Zeit war ihn zum Stopp erneut zu betätigen. Freut euch also auf ein Set nach klassischer Kiki-Manier, gefüllt mit den schönen Grooves und wobbelnden Bässen, die wir von ihr gewohnt sind!
Also - zurücklehnen, tanzen, grübeln - und voll und ganz mit einsteigen wenn Kiki euch wieder mal auf eine Sightseeing-Tour durch ihre musikalische Welt einlädt!"

Originally we asked @kikikokolores for a contribution to the "Fountain of Youth" series, but that was a long time ago! In the meantime, she has developed her very personal sound-signature and makes us happy with a fresh and live-mixed tape for MUY APRECIADO (Mixed by our friends)!

"Saturday evening, stuff packed and off to the music room to record. Start, the bass is booming, energy in the room and good mood spreads around. So they start playing and grooving until Kiki suddenly notices that a certain little red button should be permanently lit up. Hm - recording forgotten and the music played so far gone, what a mess. And now? Just start again from the beginning? Redesign the set again? Questions upon questions, so: a short break. After a gin and tonic to ponder, Kiki throws herself behind the desk again. Recording? Double check, everything on, everything lit. Let's see what this will be.
And what it turned out to be. For the next hour and a half, she is fully in her element, provoking dreamy grinning looks in the audience, followed by contorted bass faces and cheers in the room. Even the record button got sad when it was time to hit it again to stop. So look forward to a set in classic Kiki fashion, filled with the beautiful grooves and wobbling bass we've come to expect from her!
So - sit back, dance, ponder - and get fully on board when Kiki invites you on a sightseeing tour of her musical world once again!"

They say that there’s a glade, deep in the woods – an eerie place where many souls have been swallowed by the wilderness, where one’s animalistic instincts take over and people lose themselves to the rhythmic drumming of the earth.

The Glade is as much an art installation as a sound camp that takes place at the Borderland, a regional Burn, in Sweden. In this hidden clearing – adorned by ancient, mystical ornaments, faintly illuminated from the other side of the veil – the feral and the wild are welcome.

Mit Trainingsjacke und Campari Spritz, sozialisierte  sich  aˈɲima musikalisch unter mittelhessischen Autobahnbrücken. Seitdem ist viel passiert. Seine Trainingsjacken-Sammlung hat sich versechsfacht, er hat das [ɔstˈɛnd] mit gegründet und dazwischen den ein oder andere Bauchnabelschnaps getrunken. Weil es sich aus Bauchnabeln am besten im Liegen trinkt, darf’s mit seinem housigen Sound auch gern mal etwas slower werden. Meistens zusammen mit Leon Leinad. Mit ihm ist er auch Teil des Wiener Être Kollektivs. Wer ihn sucht, findet aˈɲima also irgendwo zwischen Wien und Leipzig, zwischen Kaffeehaus und Ost-Romantik.

Der rythmische wabernde Bass säuselt seinen Weg durch die pulsierende Masse aus tanzenden Körpern, die - alle für sich und doch verbunden - Sprosse für Sprosse die Leiter der Extase hinaufklettern. So oder so ähnlich liest sich die typische Momentaufnahme eines Abends mit Leon Leinad an den Decks. 
Der treibende Sound des Wahlwieners wird von Downtempo geprägt, hangelt sich jedoch auch gekonnt von funky Stilelementen zu knackigen Evergreens. Eins ist dabei sicher: Kein Auge bleibt trocken, keine Hüfte steif und kein Fuß am Boden, wenn Leon Leinad zur Tanzfläche bittet.
