As a native of the Chicagoland area, it was hard for Mike Segredo not to grow up infatuated with music.  Although, the project Schematx, Started in Davenport, Iowa, he never lost that drive that only Chicagoans can embody.  Schematx, has been a steadily rising force and has quickly attained a unique and rapidly growing fanbase.  The man behind this curious moniker has strong musical roots that lie intertwined with his proficiency as a seasoned percussionist and a genuine designer of detailed beats.  Taking his greatest influence as an eclectic, Electronic producer from Gareth Emery, he particularly recalls a profound redirection in life and being bestowed with overwhelming inspiration, post his first Emery experiential entrancement.  Soon after, he adopted a performance trait that Gareth Emery and most Trance producers incorporate into their stage presence, humility.  His philosophy is one of a modest origin, believing that the "DJ" is but a facilitator and perpetuator of recycled vibrations and that they should not be held in a different accord or placed on a pedestal, above the party.  Instead, he proposes a reinvigorated paragon of yesteryear; the artist should not be fetishized or galmorized but rather fully integrated and immersed within their uproarous crowd.  Simply stated, whoever is the one providing the masses with such uplifting melodies should also be sharing in the groove, just the same.  This credo nurtures the connection between performer and listener and all the while improves the interactive musical experience, which so many musicians seem to neglect, nowadays.  
	At a Schematx show, the perception of superiority and inferiority does not exist, everybody is fundamentally just another channel from which the music can flow, outward and inward.  Honing his skills over the past several years, Schematx, has come up with a definitive sound to be reckoned with, as he fires his sonic artillery across state lines and tactfully blasts open chic, world-class lounges.  His specialized style of Progressive Electronica and Deep House meets cutting-edge Breakbeat/Trance is infectious and has kept the dance floors of many premier night clubs in Chicago ablaze weekly; such as The Mid, Dolphin and Vertigo Sky Lounge, at the highly acclaimed, lavish Dana Hotel. Schematx has shared the stage with a multitude of household favorites and has accompanied a variant of internationally renowned performers.  He has undoubtedly made great strides over the years in regards to his production value and has learned how to fully captivate and play to an audience. The dedication he puts forth to his craft is unparalleled and he has an undying ambition for the music he creates.  Schematx knows that there is a more significant, serendipitous outcome in life and he believes that it can be better understood by being a thread that connects music to the entire world and carefully conspires with all, for positively affirming results.
