Our latest edition of the POOLcast comes this month from Waldboot. A fictional, artificial construct from the world of Three Apes.

POOLcast 079 is a weave of the musical aspects of this construct. Synthetic, acoustic and emotional sounds, which have their origin in the coincidence of the moment, document a timeless journey through sheer endless worlds. Waldboot's musical form manifests itself in almost exclusively self-synthesized sounds, using various generative algorithms to create a fabric of organic textures and artificial atmospheres. This seemingly tangled web serves as a breeding ground for all sorts of emotional moments and unpredictable ramifications. A kind of a musical maze, which knows neither entrance nor exit. You get the feeling as if you were, are and will irrevocably always have been a part of this mesh.

Coincidence with meaning generates emotions.

London based DJ and producer; MAN2.0 has graced the decks in Berlin, Edinburgh Manchester and Glasgow as well as rocking the closing Two Tribes party at London clubbing institution the Cause, playing on the same bill as Optimo, Kink and Ben Sims among others.
 
Last year, his Monsters EP got picked up by BBC Radio 1’s Paul Woolford, tore the roof off of Berghain the week before release and is a favourite in the Rekordboxes of DJs like Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Pedro Winter, Electrosexual, Justin Robertson and a host of other top guys in the business. He also presents Embryonic Soundwave on Voices FM which has featured guests such as Bleaching Agent, Tronik Youth and Black Light Smoke. 
 
Mark (as he’s known to his friends), has also released on Nein, Wonder Stories, Hypnotic Connection amongst others and has remixed for numerous artists such as Zakmina, Ali X (of Azari & III fame) and DDM boss Black Light Smoke, he has also picked up plaudits over the years from artists like Laurent Garnier,” Rex the Dog, DJ Sundae and has had his music described as ‘Dark but ultimately redemptive’ by the late great Andrew Weatherall, after getting a play on his  Music’s not for Everyone show on NTS.
