Today we’re happy to introduce you to Berlin based DJ and producer Bonq. (@bonq_music)Driven by her passion for electronic music, she started her journey behind the decks in 2019 and played not only at Berlin’s clubs such as „Ritter Butzke“, at the „Zurück zu den Wurzeln“ festival but also at some well- known clubs in Thailand.
Enjoy Bonq’s banging set for our @fhainest spotlight series packed with some unreleased tracks that reflect her dark, but mostly melodic style of hard hitting kick drums and deep synth elements. ⭐️

Geboren 1837 in Leipzig verdingte sich Hut als Tarzanstecher im Umland. Bereits in jungen Jahren wurde sein Faible für alles was wackelt und wächst deutlich. Sein knapp 60-jähriges Studium der heimischen Flora und Fauna beendete er mit seiner Dissertation "Sven" und einem mittlerweile weit über die Grenzen Sachsens hinaus bekannten  Herbarium. In den kommenden 73 Jahren reiste er mit dem Aktionsbündnis Tilsitter als Salatsouffleuse durchs Land.  Während dieser Zeit lernte er in Bitterfeld Hase kennen.  Aus der anfänglichen Zweckgemeinschaft wurde schnell ein Abhängigkeitsverhältnis. Die anfangs rein wirtschaftlich geprägte Idee gemeinsam Bierpong-Partys für gelangweilt Hauskatzen zu veranstalten entwickelte sich schnell zum kulturellen Phänomen . Neben der Möglichkeit sich die  Nasennebenhöhlen mittels Sektkorken piercen zu lassen wurden nun auch heiße Beats auf lauwarmen Speckstein serviert. Der Rest ist Geschichte und allseits bekannt.

Mark Reeve keeps raising the bar. His new two-tracker on Monika Kruse’s Terminal M shows why he remains one of techno’s most reliable heavy hitters. The ‘Give It Back’ EP arrives with two focused club weapons, the title track and today’s premiere, ‘Beats For Days’.

You hear Reeve’s trademark control from the first kick. The groove hits with purpose. The percussion stays tight. The low end pushes forward with a dark pulse that keeps you locked in. It feels built for big rooms with real sound systems. The kind of track that finds its place at Awakenings or Time Warp and stays there.

‘Beats For Days’ brings a sharper, more urgent feel than ‘Give It Back’. The rhythm moves quicker. The mood sits heavier. It creates a strong contrast within the EP, giving the whole release a sense of shape that DJs can work with across longer sets.

Reeve’s history explains the weight behind this music. He left England for Germany more than fifteen years ago to be closer to the underground he loved. Sven Väth’s support opened the door to key imprints including Drumcode, Afterlife, Cocoon and Soma. Collaborations with Adam Beyer, Tale of Us and Pig and Dan followed, each one adding depth to his catalogue.

His DJ sets carry that same clarity. Rooms like Gashouder, Space Ibiza, Rex Club Paris and Fabrik Madrid have all felt the impact of his sound. He plays with intent. Every transition makes sense. Every track lands with force.

‘Beats For Days’ captures that approach in a tight, driving form. A proper peak time cut designed to lift the room’s energy without overcomplicating the message.

Der gebürtige Mecklenburger legt seinen Fokus auf druckvolle und tanzbare Musik, die niemals langweilig erscheint. Während des jahrelangen tourens als Teil diverser Projekte durch die Clubs Europas, erarbeitete er sich einen robusten musikalischen Background und so wurde der Platz hinterm DJ Pult nach und nach sein zweites zu Hause. Die Liebe zur Musik, vor allem zum Detail, hört man jedem seiner Sets an- stets schiebend und ordentlich nach vorne!
