Hailing from Hanover, dxrvo has made a name for himself with hypnotic, minimalist, atmospheric techno sets. His music takes the dancefloor on a journey with fast regular driving beats, rhythmic bass and repetitive sounds. His performances at Tresor Berlin, PAL Hamburg, watergate Berlin, Doka Amsterdam, show his presence in the electronic scene.  

Together with 2 other friends, dxrvo is one of the founders of Kollektiv Synergie. 
A platform focussing on inclusive events and promoting a wide range of artists.

dxrvo is active as a producer and has proven his skills as a producer of techno with successful releases on labels such as ROOM TRAX, NYXII, SYXT, BCCO, Modern Minimal and many more.

The Melbourne-born, London-based artist crafts unique contemporary techno by blending moods, textures, and atmospheres with an innate sense of storytelling.

Music has been a cornerstone of Fergus' life. Inspired by his mother’s eclectic taste, he grew up immersed in the sounds of US3, Gorillaz, Roy Orbison, Groove Armada, and more. Initially producing house music, Fergus discovered his passion for techno after experiencing Marcel Dettmann’s transformative performance at Rainbow Serpent Festival in 2015.

With over 15 years of production experience, Fergus draws from his love of jazz, bossa nova, rap, ambient, and electronic music to create dynamic, boundary-pushing techno. His DJ sets mirror this ethos, guiding audiences on an immersive sonic journey.

Fergus is a key member of the Hayes Collective, having consistently released his music on the esteemed Portuguese label since 2020. His work has also found a home on Illegal Alien, NRBK, Ear To Ground, Connection Verified, and Codec Recordings, in addition to his own imprint, Pressure Systems.

Pressure Systems embodies the philosophy that sound is pressure and music is its system. The label champions total creative freedom and authenticity, reflecting the physical and emotional power of sound as a medium for deep self-expression.

For our 20th episode of materiacast series, we're delighted to have Parisian DJ Ellicam.

She's part of a new generation of French artists who draw their inspiration from stripped-down, definitively hypnotic techno.
Ellicam shapes her mixes through an architectural vision by seeing tracks as textures. Her palette combines percussive and atmospheric tracks in order to take her listener on a mental journey. 

This mix draws the landscape for a trip through hypnotic techno by exploring sharp and immersive tracks.

Matt Waro & Xero - Vodka (Evâa Pearl Jungle )

This mix was recorded live from Reaktor's Katharsis event in 2017.  For those that don't know, Katharsis happens once a year and is dedicated to the faster, harder and more industrial side of techno.  This was my entire 3 hour set from that night.

Over the last few years we have built a steady relationship doing events together and sharing our passion for this music.  We are teaming up once again for ADE 2018 and releasing this mix as a thank you to all our followers and supporters.
