Today we premiere a stellar techno track from Dublin producer PageOne. We present the third track ‘Envelope Dealer’ from his groove focused five track EP, on his imprint, Undivided.

Following on from Undivided’s first various artists release, the Dublin producer returns with a five track EP, with three originals from himself and two remixes from Oliver Dodd and Nicolas Volger. PageOne is cementing a definitive sound for himself and the label, as they focus on very minimal and groove focused techno. The sound is an ever-growing movement in techno right now with artists such as, Matrixxman, Rene Wise & TWR72, pushing it forward.

Envelope Dealer is a pacey and loopy DJ tool that sits at a soaring 143 bpm. The track is dominated by a bouncy bassline that’s partnered with a crunchy 909 work out, as well as a washed out vocal hit. The track’s groove is somewhat off kilter and gives the track great movement.

We’re big fans of the very active techno producer and look forward to hearing more from PageOne in the future.

2021. What a year it's been. On the 1st January 2021, Influenced Records was born. A brand new independent Techno label based out of London, UK. Fast forward 12 months and here we are, on New Years Eve, closing the year with a compilation of music released on our beloved label.

This 2021 compilation is the first in a forthcoming series of annual compilations, summarising the year gone by with 1x track from each release, and a few remixes for good measure. This edition is 18 tracks strong, which we hope gives you an insight into the diversity of our sound in 2021.

An album constructed by our artists, for the fans. To anyone who has bought or listened to our music, thank you SO much for all your support this year, it really does mean the world, and we honestly couldn't have done it without you. This ones for you.

This is only the beginning for Influenced Records, just you wait to see what we have in store.

Pino Peña launches his new label W133. The label combines analog photography by Freya Gerz with diverse styles of electronic music.
For the first release he has gathered 5 great tracks from artists all over the world.
The first track "Voices from the Dawn" is a smooth intro with elegant pads and a lush beat by Timo Rinker from southern Germany.
Right afterwards "Anorak" by Valdemar from Stockholm hits slightly harder with precise percussions in a cool bass 4/4 techno hybrid.
Pino Peña kicks off the B Side with the deep and fast rhytmic banger "Officer Rumba", building on dembow infused grooves. As a 4th track CucaRafa from Lisbon delivers 90s influenced groovy techno in "Deves Achar Que Eu Nasci Ontem".
As a closer for the EP, No Sir delivers a bass and break heavy beast called "Unknown Entities" fresh outta Brooklyn.

The release will be available digitally and as a very limited 12" dubplate edition with the analog photos printed.

As a thank you to our beloved community that showed us nothing but support and ap- preciation over the last year, Schimmer Records is releasing a compilation of 27 tracks by our residents and invited artists.

Just as we did last year, we want to use our reach to address the more serious issues the global community faces today and help the less fortunate. Especially the most vulnerable of us, children can suffer under the consequences of the action of others: Abuse, a lack of access to education and misplacement become rampant in times of war and conflict.

Thus, this year we feel the proceeds raised from our Christmas album, which is 15 Euro for the whole album, are best placed with “Save The Children“. After the release is funded 100% of our earnings will go towards the goal of helping children in need.

We wish you a very happy Christmas, a joyful time with the people dearest to you and a happy new year. See you in 2024!
