In the summer of 2005 in the lost city of San Fiego there was meth/pcp lab where in the maker was killed in the explosion, it also consumed several stray cats and a blind toothless homeless man named crazy Chester. The burn radius began to grow rapidly sending firefighters to stand down, cause who gives a fuck about the desert. For 3 days the fire raged and did almost no damage to valuable property. The smoke given off began to gather high in the atmosphere and because of the deranged consciousness of the cats and crazy Chester the smoke became self-aware. In time the smoke organized its thoughts and decided that they’re work was far from over, harnessing small amounts of power from the multiverse they managed to form the smoke into a house and keep it stable with their sheer strength of will. Deciding that they need a figure head to speak for them they harvested hundreds of stray cats taking parts from each to form a perfect being. Since this smoke was a new being they over harvested, about three hundred cats and using parts from eight but all in the name of progress. Though they a created what they thought to be the perfect representation of their message there was one oversight, the assembled cat was not cognitive and self-aware. Since he couldn’t do anything that it was supposed to do they called him Mr. Scrambles and he was to remain the figure head of the operation. What the meaning of all this was going to be was still unknown by the being itself but they had gotten this far so poor planning wasn’t going to stop them now. They thought “music” was an effective way to get a message across so they started gathering analogue synthesizers, drum machines, mixers, real to real recorders and a computer cause Mr. Scrambles likes screen savers of the flying toaster fashion. Over time they began to learning the basics of music/muzak, music theory, rhythm and all the things that go into making a radio friendly song that could convey the message one that figured that part out but they were having a hard time mostly because they were formed from meth and pcp smoke they were constantly really high So the “music” that was made ended up sounding like the cat made it especially considering that the cat was high as fuck too.
