For the 27th Schmaus podcast, we are delighted to host Kibum Kim, straight from Seoul, South Korea. In addition to a solid presence in the fashion spheres, Kibum is a global renown selector since 2014—and has been rocking the clubs of the capital since then.
The artist brushes his sonic vision through textures of sound with an emphasis on spatialization. While playing mostly rominimal and micro house, he prefers mixing like water flowing through the river, like playing a musical instrument.
Kibum mixes his favorite sound textures with a dark ambient twist and also produces fashion show music.

Schmaus is a fellowship of minimal music lovers who passionately believe in the great talent that has been developed over the years in Romania and abroad.
It all started in 2014 in Timișoara (western Romania), when minimal enthusiasts teamed up to create ephemeral spaces for artists to express their art without any restrictions. These special events aimed for the highest sophistication of sound, as well as a space for people enjoy the events and want to be able to "let go" for the night. Schmaus had the immense privilege to host genuine artists from the scene such as Mihai Pol, Macarie, Gescu, Melodie, Teluric, Paul K, Lizz, Cosmjn, only to name a few.
When the pandemic started, the next logical step was to keep the same idea of unity through selected podcast performances … but we promise that we will all dance again in the near future!
