This was one our favourite sets to play - 'Wild Berry' going into 'Zongalero' and then into the punk-funk smasher 'Use Da Fone'. This is a recording from a gig at Cargo in London sometime in 2002. Owen somehow got us into playing Prince '1999' half way through...deep house meets cabaret.  Lovely randomness and 100% Schmoov!

Tech In Me Ogre

Schmoov! have released their music on labels such as DiY Discs, Paper Recordings, and Winding Road Records.  Their ‘While You Wait’ album exploded everywhere from San Francisco to Berlin, Australia and London.  It was album of the month in Loaded (5/5), iDJ (5/5), and Wax (9.5/10) - and selected as album of the year in Penthouse (ahem!).

The Schmoov! remix of aMillionSons’ ‘Misti Blu’ was ranked by David Mancuso as # 1 in his ‘Loft’ chart at the time, and was subsequently released on Pete Tong’s London Records, featuring the vocals of a nice lady called Chaka Khan.

Schmoov! supported Groove Armada on their ‘Goodbye Countryside’ LP tour, playing at sold-out major venues such as London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and Brixton Academy.  Schmoov! have also graced the main stage at the Big Chill festival on the peaktime Saturday afternoon set, and performed at the Garden Festival in Croatia, and have been regularly booked to play live in Poland, Prague, Singapore, Holland, Norway, France, and Germany.

Schmoov! recently performed at the packed-out 30th birthday party of Nottingham free-party heroes DiY, rocking the dancefloor with live versions of their well-known classics blended with new and unreleased (and maybe unreleasable) original tracks: https://vimeo.com/377981293/af69cf39c9
