Steven Universe - Pearl's Theme (Hausman Remix)

Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. It is the coming-of-age story of a young boy named Steven, who grows up with three magical aliens, the "Crystal Gems" Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl, and helps them protect the world from their own kind. A part of Cartoon Network Studios' artist-driven "Shorts Program", Steven Universe is the first Cartoon Network series to be created by a woman, and was developed by Sugar while she worked on the Cartoon Network series Adventure Time. It premiered on November 4, 2013.

Steven Universe has received critical acclaim for its art design, music and, for a youth series, unusual depth of characterization and sci-fi worldbuilding. The series was nominated for two Annie Awards and its cast received an award as best vocal ensemble in an animated TV series in 2014. It was renewed in July 2015 for a third season.[5] Companion books, comics and a video game based on the series have been also released.

SNES SPC700 port of "Amalgam" from Steven Universe! It was pretty tough adapting the original instruments to Super Mario World's soundset (I used some custom samples for the drum kit), but I'm pretty satisfied with the result :)

This is my take at “Do it for Him/Her” from Steven Universe in a Uematsu-esque battle theme.  This was also the first planned art/music collab with Kevin Creel.  We had this in mind for our first collab to both 'test the waters' and for a signal boost.

Hello! My name’s KCVisualD, and I am a legally blind Visual Development Artist and Digital Illustrator. Due to a rare eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa, I am no longer capable of maintaining a studio pipeline; however--albeit very slowly--I still very actively pursue my own artistic endeavors. 

Pieces of Eight and I started work on this project sometime ago, and finding the time to collaborate our efforts was quite a challenge; however, despite all the hurdles, we feel that our mutual love for both creative mediums (animation/music) really came through in this piece. What do you get when you combine the theme of a character who was forgotten by everyone because of what happened to them with the theme of another character that went through those events?

Caught in the crossfire of someone else's game and left to be forgotten by the world they once new. Left to be forgotten for being broken and out of use, she was made a background character to what should be a world that knows her name.

But is it any better than before?

Should one stay in the background, to shape the world for the possible better, or go against to your fate and proclaim your place in the world. 

There's a shared sense of tragedy between the two that I feel drew people in. Lapis and Gaster are lost in worlds that moved on without them as if they never really mattered. 

I'd like to give attention to WizardMoon on tumblr for the initial inspiration of this.

Stronger Than Miracles

This is a mash up/fusion (no Steven Universe pun intended), of Dance of Swords from Steven Universe, and Gerudo Valley from Zelda Ocarina of Time, simply titled "Gerudo Sword Dance" A.K.A "Song That Might Play When You Fight Dark Link." (Subtle Undertale reference ftw!)This idea of mine first came about when I was listening to the original Dance of Swords, when I thought "Hey, this could make a really good acoustic guitar cover." I looked up guitar covers of the song, and they were all metal, no acoustic. I thought to myself "How could no one have thought of this?" I wanted to do the cover myself, but I don't own an acoustic guitar, let alone know how to play one. This idea was stuck in my head for a very long time. Until one day, I stopped across an Ocarina of time soundfont that just so happened to include the same acoustic guitar used in Gerudo Valley. I went in the piano roll and did the cover immediately. I then thought, what can I use as the percussion. All I needed to do was sample and rearrange the percussion used in that of Gerudo Valley, and set it up in the same pattern of the hi hats in Dance of Swords.
