Heute hab ich einen ganz besonderen Leckerbissen für euch parat. Dieses megastimmungsvolle Set ist ein Live-Recording von Moji (Motomenja) vom grandiosen Bucht der Träumer Festival 2017. Inspiriert von der Morgensonnen nach einer stürmischen Nacht, spielten Moji, Tom und Svenja ein Herzens-Set für lachende und sonnige Tänzer auf dem Antlantis Floor. Und man kann es nicht anderes sagen … aber die Stimmung kommt voll durch.

Motomenja ist ein Deep-House/Downtempo Projekt der Künstler MOji [@moji-taali], TOM [@te-em-berlin] und svENJA [@plattenstreich]. Eine verwobene Symbiose aus atmosphärischen Klängen, sanften Melodien, treibenden Rhythmen und starken Bässen. Jedes Set lädt auf eine eigene Reise durch die weite Welt des Ambient und Downtempo ein, begleitet von groovigen Live-Elementen und fantasievollen Improvisationen auf der E-Violine.

Caleesi is an electronic music artist and co-founder of Circles & Stones booking agency based in Berlin. She has developed her own signature sound that has been shaped by diverse musical influences, ranging from slow tech music to downtempo to deep house. But her influences reach far further and also include artists like Nicolas Jaar, Mira, Lauryn Hill and many more. Caleesi’s music is diverse in style yet consistent in vibe: with an ear for melancholia that goes beyond genre or tempo, she often combines deep basslines with an emotional touch. Her sets tend to build up tension slowly, gradually releasing a flow that travels through warm synth lines into different moods and atmospheres - always focusing on the individual vibe and energy to create an intimate journey with the crowd. The more we live in the new realities, the harder it becomes to imagine what life would be like if the virus thing had not happened at all. It’s only a matter of time when we’ll run out of days we had planned before the pandemic, which became invisible pages in some unwritten book. We’ll then come to terms with the new days, realizing that we are going to divide life before the isolation and after it, stuck amid some incomprehensible present, a what-we-could-have-done past and the what-comes-ahead future. No matter how fast we come to terms with the fact that we need to redefine and re-plan everything, and no matter how soon we decide to abstain from planning anything at all, we are nonetheless going to have a small and insignificant feeling of regret for the days we thought were important and were going to change the way we felt and the way saw things. And those “unfulfilled days” will remain the only link between the former and future realities.
@vikenarman and @acidpauli’s six-hour set they played at @Rambalkoshe marked, in some sense, the beginning of their joint performances. They were supposed to play b2b all night long at Berlin’s Watergate club today to officially kick start the new chapter both of them were so passionate about. To celebrate such a milestone, we are publishing an excerpt from the set this unbelievable symbiosis played at Rambalkoshe a year ago and took around hundred people to a different dimension, filled with nothing but incredible and infinite energy.

Bergluft

Ich sitze auf einer grünen Wiese und genieße den malerischen Ausblick auf die bewaldete Hügel & Berglandschaft vor mir. Die sanften Kurven, gleich einer üppigen Brust, ragen anmutig in das abendliche Violet des Himmels. Wie kleine Pfeilspitzen heben sich die darauf wachsenden Nadelbäume vom Horizont ab. Ihr dunkles grün wirkt fast schwarz im Dämmerlicht und verleiht der Szenerie einen funken Magie.
Kleine Häuschen flankieren unregelmäßig die Täler und Kuppen. Aus manchen steigt Rauch, andere wiederum sind ganz und gar in Dunkelheit getaucht. Der Wind kühlt angenehm auf der Haut und ist damit komplementär zur feurigen Sonne und ihren Strahlen. Sie bilden gemeinsam die Metaebene der Lebendigkeit und des Seins, in der reinen Natur. 
Die Berge locken mich mit ihrer schier unendlichen Weite und ihrem mäyestätischen Anblick. Wie gern würde ich sie erkunden und bewandern. Doch ich sitze hier auf der Wiese und genieße.

Mit jungspund fällt das Leben kinderleicht und erscheint unbeschwert. Kurz den Rucksack mit Proviant bepackt, die Wanderschuhe geschnürt und ab in die Berge. Einfach mal unbekümmert die Seele baumeln lassen, geht am besten an der frischen Luft und mit Musik von jungspund.
