In honour of Koningsdag (King's Day, the birthday of the king of the Netherlands, a national holiday on the 27th of April), i decided to create an arranged version of the national anthem, "het Wilhemus"
Since the original composition has some cool wacky time signatures, i decided to lean into the theme of wacky time signatures and give this boss theme a progressive and semi-orchestral feel, kind of like a combination of Kingdom Hearts, Dark Souls/Elden Ring, and some of my own style

Music Is My Sanctuary is excited to share  something very different today. "Root", an exciting blend of jazz, electronic music and hip hop from Italian musician and producer, KARU. Taken from forthcoming album, 'Kuru' on Beat Machine Records. 

According to KARU, ""Root" represents the starting idea from which all of KURU primordial sounds are generated. These sounds chase each other between the tracks of the entire album, creating a looping pattern, similar to a mantra. This process of elaboration, like a root that grows, is the core of my musical creation".  

‘Kuru’ is the first album composed by the collaborative project KARU, and orchestrated by the multi-instrumentalist Alberto Brutti. He delves into his passions for tribal culture, jazz and electronic production, combining them in a work that is in equal parts uplifting and somber. The album is completed with a footwork inspired remix from On The Corner associated Guedra Guedra.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is one of my favourite game series - i like all of the games in their own way (even GTI). And what better way for someone like me to commemorate that than by releasing this huge remix medley containing the final dungeon themes of each game? The art is mine, and the characters I have drawn are all from my games over time... we have Val, Ven, Vince and Absol from Rescue Team DX, Nomus and Archie from Explorers, Flip and Floof from Super, and, while I don't remember their names, since my Gates To Infinity cartridge stopped working, they're there too.

In Fire Emblem Heroes Book 5, you are attacked by forces from Niđavellir, the kingdom of Steel. Commanding those troops is Reginn, Younger sister to King Fafnir and princess of Niđavellir! After the fight, she asks you to help her get her brother back to his normal self as he seems to be possessed by something... Now its up to the Order of Heroes along with Reginn to save Niđavellir! This is the map theme that plays in the game REMIXED for your listening ears!


When making this, I wanted to keep the steampunk feel the original had but I also added a bit of Vaporwave vibes to add some uniqueness into the track! I hope you enjoy this BADASS remix!!
