I made this mix back in 2013 (ish?) in Ableton, to celebrate reaching 30,000 points on turntable.fm, a site that no longer exists. I modelled it after the BBC's Essential Mix, and it's a really great snapshot of what I was (am?) about when it comes to dance music. I truly had no idea what I was doing on a technical level, and it took me forever to make, but I still think it holds up, though I'm not sure whether that's nostalgia or what. I do know that I'm forever chasing the feel of the last 20 minutes of this mix, starting with Williams' cover of Love on a Real Train. Anyhow... enjoy.
