I know I haven't released in a long time but, no, I'm not done with music. Covid really hit my business here in Bellingham and I've had a really hard time keeping consistent. I've had some challenging/trying times as has EVERYONE I have spoken to. I'm not having a great time, but neither are most people. I love you all and, if this can reach even 5/1000 of you, I will consider this post a success. I am starting a new channel since I consider myself a completely different person than, say, 2 years ago. I have a new style, sound, personality, and I guess you could say; I'm a different person. Follow my new channel @ JD Records. Find this now, cool. Find this in a year, cool. Find this never, it's all good. I hope you all persist, hang on, and don't give up hope. Jobs, happiness, consistency, these are all tough things right now. I hope you all find success to meet your own, individual definitions. Even the haters. Another song written with Bodie Labrie. I wrote the beat and the lyrics, but he really helped me get it from good to amazing as far as production quality and mixing. Couldn't have done any of these songs this quick without his help. Again, good times, good memories, could never forget it. This song was inspired by the one and only Wes Schott. Some blues and sadness on Christmas eve led to a talk. It helped enlighten a lot of things, and we discussed what we thought Christmas was really about. It's not what you GET or GIVE, it's what you say and feel. Be happy. Be free, Feel the love, give some back! Or a lot! ;)
