This is the first song we wrote together, me little woman and I. It is a bit much special to us, and has lived a strange life on several harddisks, now its here for your listening enjoyment.
Sure we both love tomato salad, but the workin title were actually "stopwords" meanin a phrase or word to stop useles arguing about things not important, as life is so short and we met eachother so relatively late in our life.  It works better in theory than in real life, but its a good little song :-)

Tomato salad

Fix it in the mix ... We wrote and recorded this song on the same day and it has been quite a journey ever since. The songs came a flyin so fast we never had time to finish them, and as i didnt know much about the equipment i used, even though I thought I did, the version we made back then in 2007 were quite ok for listening to ourself but here is a new and better version. It took quite a lot of fiddlin to make it full and make the verses shine, and were quite happy how it turned out fixin it in the mix.

New start

We made this song for the MGP 2007, it didnt make it at all, but we did and here it is in a new version, with an aded horn part, but apart from that its the original recordin, which is part of the concept of this project.

Wife said: I want this song so I can listen to it, its the best song I know. So whats a man to do but share it with the world, the spirit and joy to my ears are overpowering the lousy tuning and first playing attempt. As I remember it she were takin a bath and I wrote and recorded the song to play for her when she were finished, I guess she dried her hair too or somthin ...

First song Ive writen in nearly a year. 
The lyrics came rather quickly and the melody just sat waiting in the guitar. 
Tracked it yesterday and today I edited it slightly and made a very gentle mastering and here it is, the story of big love in a too rough environment, the art of hangin on to a dream, the will the power of love and the strength in 2 small souls goin through hell.
We are still here, for we love eachother and its really all we can do.

These songs are the ones we made when we met, the love of my life and I. The concept is like this: use as much of the original recordin as possible and only overdub if its impossible to make what is there allready sound good.
 Like it says in one o the songs, a 5 dollar note were torn, 2 pieces were all alone - and then we met. These songs have not been taken care of as our love has had rather hard conditions and has yet survived AND gotten stronger. That is a strong love if you ask me ! I know these songs, when they are all here, will tell the story of our meeting and the strong emotions and the big love we were given and have for eachother - and hopefully you will like it and maybe you will smile and feel something too :-)
