Short info: Running Back’s 50th anniversary comes courtesy of Redshape. After his utilitarian Bonuz Beatz effort earlier this year, the masked man is back on the monolithic techno tip. Graced with a sense of tradition and a modern stlye of execution, “Leaves” is the sort of warehouse rave signal that exceeds the sole purpose of a tool. Ende Oktober 2014 kündigte Gunnar Stiller den zweiten Teil der Zusammenstellung “Upon.You Diary N°4″ an. Am 17. November 2014 war es soweit: Das Berliner Label Upon.You Records brachte eine weitere Ansammlung von zwölf Tracks raus. The Swedish label Dirty Hands strikes back with double force. This motor driven techno 12” is hard to hide from. 

Label boss Per Hammar says ”When Patrick gave me this track, I played it in every set for 3 months. When he later told me that he hasn’t found a home for it, we said in choir ‘let’s do a Dirty Hands release out of it!’, and after that moment, all my previous plans for the label was deleted.”

With Patrick’s ruthless original combined with Per Hammar’s jungle sounding edit on the flip, this release isn’t anything but a key into the producer duo’s minds.
