DJ, Techno, Dark-Techno, Hard-Techno

Dirk aka Van Zyl entdeckte schon früh seine Leidenschaft zur Musik. 
Mit 14 stand er das erste Mal hinter einem Mischpult. Schnell war ihm klar, dass 
das genau sein Ding ist. Anfangs noch mit normalen CD-Playern, folgte schon bald der Erste Technics 1210'er und kurze Zeit später auch der Zweite. Er legte unter anderem in der Music-Hall in Walldürn und einige Wochen im Discoplex A4 in Krapkowice/PL auf. Es folgten dort über die Jahre noch einige Gastauftritte. Mit Mitte 20 war er an einem Studio in Mainz beteiligt. 2006 entschloss er sich sein eigenes Studio aufzumachen und zog damit um, in seine Homebase nach Hanau. Durch den Einfluss verschiedener Clubs wie dem Prodo X, Dorian Gray oder den Paramount Park war sein Stil lange Zeit der Trance. Vor einigen Jahren entdeckte er eine neue Musikrichtung für sich: den Techno. Mittlerweile hat er sich zu einem gern gehörten Techo/Hardtechno DJ entwickelt. Egal ob in seiner eigenen Location, bei Radiohanau, wo er seine eigene Sendung hat und Gründungsmitglied des Vereins ist, oder bei verschiedenen Bookings im Rhein-Main-Gebiet bis hin ins Ruhrgebiet. Überall kennt er nur eins: Vollgas!
Van Zyl ist nicht nur Resident bei diversen Techno Kollektiven, sondern ist Mitbegründer des Kollektives „Projekt Drei“ mit dem er im Rhein-Main-Gebiet sehr aktiv ist.
