SHTO is a series of unique experimental acoustic open-air events, where the central element is the space between the sound sources and the audience, which is unusually large for musical events — at least 300 metres and more than a kilometre long. In it, ambient music dissolves and takes on new qualities, different from the original, and becomes literally tangible. Powerful sound sources which are far away and located on all sides of the listener create unusual effect — a person perceives music around him as a huge moving sound mass, as if he is a participant of a film or a dream.

Previously, a mix of ready-made tracks was used to give voice to the space. Now, more than fifty songwriters have collaborated on an ambitious collaboration to create a single piece of music based on rave culture.

Sepehr is a live act, DJ, producer, and remixer based in San Francisco. The San Jose native has been a fixture in the world of Bay Area house and techno for quite awhile now — on the dance-floor, behind the decks, in the studio, or all of the above and then some. He started DJing in his teens, and has since become a staple in the North American underground circuit and beyond, a regular performer at sweaty establishments. His DJ sets range from mutant off kilter dance floor beaters, psychedelic techno, to heady electro and slithering acid. In late 2017 he began performing live PA sets, utilizing his immense production backlog to perform vivid and electric sets, from potent dance music to psychedelic and esoteric soundscapes. Sepehr has releases on Dark Entries, Honey Soundsytem, SPE:C and more forthcoming.

Nikkatze is a brazilian dj and a multiple artist, currently focused on the universe of electronic music, she explores a cinematic aesthetic in the composition of her mixtapes, which can involve you in a hypnotic and nostalgic dream, as well as being a dancing and enigmatic flirtation. She is a founder project of great prominence in the city of São Paulo, @blumsp party, a queer movement that involves electronic music, performances and contemporary arts.
