Opening the beautiful Friday Dance Space of a super cosy little location in Leipzig. Lots of love!!

Playtime ~ 3 hours, this is a part from somewhere in the middle where I still had an approximate plan of what I was doing before venturing adventurously into the realms of utter improvisation.

This is 1/4th of a very easy-going, super smooth and absolutely improvised 4-hour-set delivered to a beautiful sauna chill-out space at "Zum Wilden Heinz" in the midst of springtime Leipzig. 

Full of memories of beautiful people drinking Cacao, dancing slowly, conversing in low-lit carpeted corners and cuddling in front of the fireplace...

Ambience Detected

In June I was honored to spontaneously DJ for an Ecstatic Dance in Graz, Austria - the city I grew up in! 
With borrowed equipment from dear friend and fellow DJ clara clang and 4GB of music to choose from I embarked on this almost entirely improvised adventure. 
It was a wonderful experience to play music to such passionate and creative dancers. 
I WANT MORE OF THIS!

Nach einem unerwartet wunderschönen, lehrreich intensiven Sommer im Bus mit einer Hofgemeinschaft in der Südsteiermark lasse ich mich vom Herbstwind weiterwirbeln und beziehe ein häusliches Winterquartier. 

Was für ein Anlass für einen wilden Koch- und Tanzabend! 
Magische drei Stunden habe ich mitgeschnitten, zum auch mit dabei sein und immer wieder Eintauchen.

Archenhof Quartiersparty

The day I played this set I drove my van through the snow. 
It was incredibly slippery. 
It was stupid to drive. 
We slid (partly sideways) down a steep and winding road. 

My van weighs about 4 tons and is 47 years old. 
No ABS. 
Just me and my foot on the brakes and my hands on the wheel. 
For a tiny moment I saw us stuck in the trees. 
Or worse. 

But we survived! 
Miraculously, we made it down the hill! 

I cried. 
I drove back home. 
I talked to friends and cried some more. 
The snow stopped. 
The streets were cleared. 
I plucked up my courage, got back in the van and drove all the way again to play this gig. 
I hadn't prepared anything. 
It was wonderful. 
I was just so happy to be alive and among beautiful people! 

There are one or two cuts in there and I left them. 
It's the beauty of the moment, the exhaustion and glee and shaky knees after a long, crazy day.

Es erfreut mein Herz, eure Herzen mit dieser Musik zu erfreuen! 
DANKE an alle, die mutig waren, sich eingelassen haben und mit auf diese Reise gegangen sind! 
Es hat mich überrascht, wie viel Tiefe in diesem Tanz war, wie viel Emotion und Offenheit und Vertrauen, sich wirklich tief fallen zu lassen - und gleichzeitig auch so viel Freude und Spiel und Leichtigkeit.
