After the success of the first two chapters, label owner Sciahri returns with the third installment of Pareidolia, further expanding the series’ distinct sonic narrative.

The EP opens with No More Time, a perfect balance of power and finesse, where hypnotic vocal loops elevate the tension. It then transitions into Near the Bar, a groove-driven gem with refined textures that make it simply irresistible.

On the flip side, Two Letters follows up on the iconic One Letter, bringing back its unmistakable, heavy-hitting bassline and perfectly placed vocals that make it truly unique.

Closing the EP is Hit and Run, a deeply hypnotic yet driving cut, blending mental intensity and epic energy into a captivating sonic experience.

Sublunar is pleased to welcome back label manager Sciahri and Hertz Collision for a new chapter in their collaborative journey. Following the success of Axis Mundi, the duo returns with Contatto an EP that reflects their continuous evolution: a modern vision of techno, deeply rooted in its foundational essence.

The record opens with "Contatto", a fluid and refined track where aquatic synth textures bounce elegantly over a sleek and captivating groove. "Vanta" follows with a more driving and hypnotic energy a stripped-down tool designed to shake the floor with precision and style.

"Twin State" shifts the mood with rolling rhythms and sharp, sophisticated sound design a perfect fusion of past and future aesthetics. "Oroboro" then explores deeper territory, offering warm textures and a seemingly gentle presence, while concealing a powerful low-end drive that makes it both subtle and impactful.

Closing the release, the digital-only "Kinesis" delivers a minimal, synth-driven journey echoing the spirit of classic techno, reimagined through a crisp and modern lens.

After his latest Ep Paralyzed, Sciahri returns to Sublunar with his new project Pareidolia. Pareidolia is a project where the most groovy and immediate techno blends with the more futuristic and sophisticated one, creating a mix of bangers that reflect the artist's current vision.
In the First Part we move from the more classic and highly effective sounds of "Vortex" to the more direct and punchy ones of the "Roven", to then go to the B side with the Floor impact focused track "Infatuation" and then with the dark and tribal sounds of "Glow" that close the Ep.

We are super glad to finally have Sciahri in the label. This producer is one of those who has a signature in techno, always finding new boundaries, pushing forward to create the best possible techno.

For this first adventure with us he delivers 5 cuts, four on vinyl and an extra number on zeroes and ones.

The Ep begins straight to the point with the metallic and continuous sequences of Dying Nature. An ode to modulation and movement, carefully crafted for the best dancefloor experience.

No regrets is the second cut, this time the flow is slower, with a crispy groove soon overlapped with a flanged synth line that changes violently as the bars go by.

On the B side Purity is synthetic and elastic, with an anabolic sub bass line that shakes the room while high frequencies massage your brain.

Closing the physical release Aurora, gray and opaque with dynamic sequences rolling over a filtered beat.

As a digital extra, Hurricane brings the energy again with empowered kick drums, industrialized ring modulated lines and a super dynamic arrangement. A sonic odyssey filling the whole frequency range.

Italo/Iranian producer Sciahri arrives on Monument with a four-tracker that is best experienced with the whole body on a dark dancefloor. While opening up with a spacious roller, the EP traverses different paces bound together by an undercurrent of bleak, but driving grooves, constantly spiraling further into the depths of the dancefloor. Simultaneously, the distorted and twisted textures of Sciahri’s clear-cut production style makes this a record of introspection, sending us off with a vibrating half-time finale on the B-side.

Sciahriar ‘Sciahri’ Tavakoli, an Italo/Iranian DJ and producer, has been a prominent figure in the techno scene since his 2014 debut EP Mysterious Love on Ilian Tape. His sound navigates the full spectrum of techno, blending functional rhythms with experimental textures, a versatility mirrored in his dynamic DJ sets.

Sciahri has made his mark with releases on renowned labels like Warm Up, Non Series, Clergy, Semantica, Mord, and 47. Since 2017, he has also run Sublunar Records, a platform showcasing forward-thinking techno from both established and emerging artists, including Temudo, D-Leria, Cirkle, Oscar Mulero, Kangding Ray, and Adriana Lopez.

This mix offers a snapshot of Sciahri’s recent sets, featuring a minimal yet driving selection designed to maintain energy and keep listeners immersed.
